Unlike conventional medical gloves that serve only as a passive barrier between microbes and practitioner’s hands, MEDI-TRIL AMB antimicrobial gloves play an important role in reducing the spread of cross-contamination infections.

The MEDI-TRIL AMB glove is designed to quickly kill microorganisms and bacteria on the outer surface of the glove.

Our glove includes a photosensitizer that, when exposed to light, generates singlet oxygen (the metastable state - because excited - of the oxygen molecule).

This singlet oxygen oxidizes the proteins and lipids of the bacterium, resulting in the death of microbes. That’s why our AMB antimicrobial glove significantly reduces the risk of transmission from a source of infection to a patient.
